Mother's Day Gift Ideas to Show Mama Some Love
Thoughtful Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Well, I think we’d all agree that celebrating Mother’s Day during a global pandemic is a first… and hopefully a last. We’re sharing some ways to show your mama (or grandmother, mother in-law, step mom, or any other mama in your life) some love. Mom’s do a lot for us, so don’t miss this opportunity to show her our appreciation this weekend!
Here are some thoughtful Mother’s Day ideas…
Plan a family hike, walk or bike ride together. Leave the phones at home, unplug and connect with your mama and Mother Nature.
Write a poem. Remember the classic acrostic poems, using letters of your mom’s name paired with an adjective to describer her. Or you could get really artistic and use descriptive words & creative language to write about the specifics of these quarantine days in your home, family and community. Think of it as a hand written quarantine keepsake.
Breakfast in bed. This is always a winner. Set your alarm early and be sure to have the necessary groceries. Or make a quick run to her favorite coffee shop or bakery (locally, we strongly suggest some pre-ordered goodies from WildLove Bakehouse or a fresh bagel & cappuccino from KBrew). We also recommend cleaning up afterwards for bonus points!
