Erin fell in love with Knoxville on a visit here in the Summer of '09, and moved here just months later to do environmental work in defense of Tennessee's mountains. In her other lives, she is a birth doula and bread baker, and involved in many of Knoxville’s efforts for social justice. She’s often spotted at the Birdhouse Community Center, or hanging out with her favorite 14 year old, to whom she’s been a “big sister” for 8 years.Erin is unusually good at finding four leaf clovers, and pretty good at moving bees and spiders from inside to outside. Sometimes she catches herself wondering how many of her meals today were vegetables, how many were ice cream, and if that's an ok ratio.
