Sara Kate moved to Knoxville from Asheville (her home of 40 years) in 2020 after meeting her (now) husband. Her background includes an art degree in painting, drawing and photography as well as a certification for decorative and restoration painting through the City and Guilds of London Institute. She ended up discovering Help You Dwell from Taryn’s college roommate. SK thrives in people’s homes - organizing, seeing new potential, offering fresh perspective. She can’t get enough of east Tennessee’s lavender sunsets. She & her husband live in a small apartment that she says feels like a cozy, inviting hug. They’ve curated a collection of vinyl records (mostly that honor their late mothers’ taste in music) that they enjoy listening to at home. She believes that everything in life has a learning curve, to get better you have to simply commit to practicing it. She considers it such an honor that our clients trust us with their homes and loves getting to blend her passion for home and creativity together.
