On February 24, 2014 Taryn and Caroline obtained a business license for Help You Dwell. Over the past eleven years, this small (but mighty) business has grown into a trusted service provider offering professional organizing, moving services, senior moves, and holiday + event services.
Our team of talented individuals has grown and evolved over the years as many incredible women have been a part of the team in different seasons. The organizers and packers who make up our team are mothers, school teachers, nurses, personal trainers, counselors, social workers, and more.
Each client we serve has extended generous trust and welcome to our team as we’ve entered their homes and lives. We have walked with individuals and families through moving homes, setting up their spaces for new babies, hosting estate sales, rearranging for work/school at home needs, guided folks through aging loved ones downsizing, and assisted many with packing and unpacking through a renovation process. We’ve taken away trunk loads of items for donation. We’ve found meaningful organizations to make good use of specific items our clients no longer needed. We have honed in on the perfect organizing tools for common areas of every home. We’ve flexed our muscles in storage units, garages, basements, attics, garden sheds, and more. We’ve handled unique collections, curated wardrobes, and created lasting systems of order throughout homes and workspaces. We have decorated and undecorated homes for the holidays all across town. We have taken the time to listen, to hear the stories, to honor the memories, to treasure the items that are held dear, and we’ve empowered folks to love where they live.
Today (and every day) we celebrate the impact this business has had on so many lives. East Tennessee (and beyond), thank you for letting us help you dwell. A great big thank you to all of our cheerleaders, business mentors, and friends. We aren’t slowing down anytime soon.
““Tend to what you have”.”
As we reflect today and dream about the future, we want to encourage you with these words. Taryn models this sentiment and encourages all of us to do the same as we aim to use our resources, spaces, talents, and belongings well.
