We are revisiting a past home tour in celebration of the upcoming 4th and Gill annual neighborhood tour of homes and secret gardens on Sunday, April 30th from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. HYD is delighted to be a sponsor of the event. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to see some lovely historic homes and gardens in one of downtown Knoxville’s oldest neighborhoods. You can find more info and purchase tickets here. Celia’s home is one of the homes you will be able to tour in person along with six other homes, two historic structures, and eight private gardens.
Today’s home tour is a lovely 1920’s Victorian cottage. Homeowner and aunt to HYD’s Taryn, Celia, recently relocated to Knoxville from the San Fransisco area and has wasted no time making her lovely house a home. With a curious mind and an itch for adventure, Celia has created an eclectic haven and home base. Celia spends her time exploring Knoxville, writing, and making memories with her family. After owning and running her own business in Silicon Valley for 14 years, Celia moved to the lovely 4th & Gill neighborhood to spend her retirement years writing and learning about a new city. Celia is quick to say that writing helps her let go of things and has saved her in hard times. We are so excited to be able to share a peek inside her wonderful home with you!
